OVERVIEW

Azay Healing Clay is a rebrand of Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay. The product is one of the most popular face masks on the market and can be used on the skin and hair. Despite it’s popularity, the original branding represents Aztec culture in a manner that is both inaccurate though the description “Indian” and inappropriate for its intended audience through the visual reference of a sacrificial temple.

EXECUTION

The final solution represents Aztec culture accurately in it’s incorporation of a flower motif that signifies beauty as well as a bowing figure that references the Aztec healing practice of surrendering yourself to the Earth to obtain spiritual nourishment.
